If I had to guess it's due to the SSO bumper I installed a couple weeks back. That thing looks badass, so maybe the truck is feeling more confident and performing accordingly.

Not that it would actually make a difference but was it a four wheel dyno or just rear wheels?

The place is equipped for 4WD pulls because they specialize in Subie tunes, but I asked and they said both pulls were 2WD (which makes sense for the Taco.)

ok, mostly I'm wondering if the front wheels were spinning, even if they were unpowered at the time, or if they were stationary. I don't think it would effect the difference between the runs, but may effect the actual figures by spinning two wheels instead of four. There's also the possibility that the truck could pull a BMW Diesel move and change it's map if it thinks that it is on a two wheel dyno being emissions tested? I have no idea if that is actually a thing that could happen though.

    Oh look, another mod....
No problem. I have lots of links for Voodoo blue colored add'ons for your Taco. Just ask and I can source it for ya'. Before long, it'll look like Papa Smurf jerked off all over the interior of your truck!

Good to know. I’m having a malfunction on mine and I have an apt to get them looked at and am being told it’s $200 but possibly more. I figure save that money and put it to the savings to get a new bumper

Owning AlphaRex Nova series headlights and Pro series tail lights i can say im actually quite impressed by their output. For the headlights, so long as you take the time to align the headlight projection angle appropriately, you're gonna see a MAJOR improvement over OEM. For the tail lights, despite having the smoked black, they output just as much, if not more, than OEM. My only gripe is that they don't have LED reverse lights in the Pro series. The same can not be said for the new Luxx series though, as they are 100% full LED, with amber/red switchbacks for the turn indicators and driving lights.

As far as AlphaRex goes as a company, they have been wonderful to me with regards to warranty replacements on my headlights, and I'm sure would be as equally accommodating with their tail lights.

how attached to the BSM functions were you? I absolutely LOVE the cross traffic alerts when backing out from my driveway semi-blind (neighbor has a REALLY big bush that blocks my passenger side view when backing out). I really want to get a new bumper with a hidden hitch to help with departure angles a bit, as well as get a bumper mounted spare tire carrier, but the only company i know working on these is Apogee offroad, and they have really hit some setbacks with development on their dual swing-out BSM compatible bumper.

The alerts are nice but I didn't use them much. I turned BSM off for a couple weeks before I did the swap tp be sure.
