Found this when I went to pick up my Corolla

I know Toyota of Cedar Park only add about $700 of tint and wheel lock to it

so congrats to whoever's picking it up

 

I saw that one too earlier today driving by on my lunch break on the 183A frontage road, it was on the "launch pad" for someone next to a 4Runner TRD Pro in that same color. I guess Cavendar / Cedar Park Toyota has the "in" with Gulf States Toyota for allotments of these.

I've tried to buy a couple times from them, but they are the absolute worst game players and put a TON of aftermarket crap on them. The lots seem to be getting more deliveries lately and aren't so barren. I've seen two or three of these new Pros (mostly 4Runners) driving around the Wilco area, but seeing the color in real life it looks to me kinda like Gatorade Yellow. To each their own, but now is an especially horrible time to be buying a new vehicle.

 

yeah, in normal times, TRD PROs can be negotiated to MSRP and have BS add on removed, but that one is a lime 6MT, such a rare bird with $700 BS addon is fair, I hope he/she buys it enjoys it rather than flipping it for $15k profit

 

Dealer just told me my Lime Pro arrived at port, just waiting for it to be transported to Dealer...

You aren't wrong. Not a fancy 2022 lime green, but I got my Sept, 2021 MT pro for MSRP only because I know the GM and my wife bought a '21 RAV months earlier. Otherwise, he said I would've been SOL. Had to sign a contract saying I wouldn't sell it for 3 months.

 

Being SOL will send customers to other manufacturers to buy their products.

Toyota and the dealer probably won't lose out on the sale, as someone will buy the products that they have available.

The same could hold true for other manufacturers that conduct business the same way.

It's a wash at that point. Offer less for a trade, and sell at a lower price.

Charleston, SC here, my Limesicle TRD Pro arrives in 44 days! VIN has been provided. What App are you using? I added mine to my garage in the Toyota App. I originally secured a Luna Rock TE at a North Carolina dealership but it was 4K over MSRP. My dealer located here in SC reached out as I was waiting on TE because I had a deposit for an allocation for the TRD Pro with my guy at MSRP. No brainer cancelled TE got deposit back and went TRD Pro. Booom Pow, can't wait!

 

No Electric Lime today. Perhaps it will arrive tomorrow. This next 72 hours is going to be hell.
