In channel avs vent visors installed and rough country seat covers also installed... can't open my windows for 72hours but thats not a biggie.... also I unbolted the seats to get the bottom clips.. made it much easier... also if you find your bolt holes don't line up you probably moved one of your seat rails....took me 10 mins to figure out why they didn't line up...

If you don't want the AVS on your vents silicone spray on a rag removes them in like 5 seconds

Added the new splash gaurds i bought like 8 months ago from a TW member that made them. Sorry i dont remember his name.

It was a warm day here so i was able to do the rest of my cmc job. I still needed to cut the plastic fender liner. I used some waterproof gorilla brand tape/patch over the pinch seem (that had previously been painted over with under body coating) and used it to seal off the inner fender as well. Ive used this stuff before on some random home projects. Its been holding up great for those. Ill be interested to see how it does with salt and snow.

Ordered Workhorse A/Ts from Tire Rack! Goodyear couldn't even supply the tire before the Rack! If you need a set grab em now before they're sold out again.

Goodyear had a April delivery projected.

ARE topper. Mud guards, factory steps, third bed rail behind cab, tacorail accessory holder, ram mount tablet mount, hood wrap and retro stripes. Bug shield and window shields. Molle seat cover on tear seat.
I never understood why the price of a Tacoma didn't include an under hood light. Every car or truck I've owned had an under hood light, except this one.

It was me and a square body Chevy passing one another on a narrow PDX side street with cars parked on both sides.

Nobody yielded (there was room to squeeze by) and I failed to notice the work van I was passing had those towing mirrors (aka there wasn't room to squeeze by...) that stick six feet out from the side of the van... and smashed into it.

I checked how bad I messed the van up while I was snugging the note under their wiper and it seemed perfectly fine, not even a scuff. Still left a note since I did hit it, and who knows if something electrical got busted.

The Taco definitely lost this slapfight, though.

Thankfully the Meso signals are unharmed or this would be a tragedy! Instead I'm off the hook with a $79 mirror cap and ~$75 or whatever to replace the busted SpotterMirror.

Swapped my CaliRaisedLED ditch lights for some Diode Dynamics SS3 Pros with the SAE driving lens and amber backlight wired to DRL’s.

My plan is to add an extra pair of SS2’s on the sides as white floods and use these as auxiliary high beams. Florida is pretty laid back on lighting and I’m very careful not to use them around other drivers.

I used it on some pipes with my sump pump/water treatment system in my home like 3 years ago, it's still going strong.
But we'll see what this looks like on the truck in a couple weeks.

I want one of those intakes too. :anonymous: I'd just wipe off the oil and check it again in a few hundred miles.

What tire size on those ray 10s?

Yeah, using it as a dashcam was the intention but has some limitations. I have to press the record button once to start recording and once to stop it. Yes it writes to a SD card and the video can be configured to loop (but this feature currently only works when starting video from the app). Default recording method will write in chunks until the storage is full then it will stop and you have to go in and clear out space (via camera or app). It's definitely not as streamlined as I would like and I probably wouldn't recommend it as a purpose-built dashcam to someone who drives a lot. I don't drive a ton these days (100% work from home) and I mainly only even turn it on for longer trips or when I take the truck off-road...and for those use cases it works great. Plus I can take the camera out and use it for other GoProey things.

My Daughter and Son in Law stationed at Kings Bay as a Navy diver is waiting on his orders due by the end of the month and he has a very good chance of transferring to Hawaii as well. If so will be moving by early August I believe.
