    Hey CO,
    Reaching out cuz why not

I live in Denver and it looks like I need to replace my LCA bushings. Truck has 270k miles. Anyone have a garage, ~20 ton press and some hands to help. I got pretty much all the other tools, that includes renting from O'reilly, needed for the job. If I had the space and a garage, I'd just buy a 20 ton jack ... home prices...

PS I will bring more than enough beer, or whatever you like to drink.

Moved here from PNW in September and I have no friends yet.

Below is a picture of the driver side LCA bushing. Right side looks crooked to me.

    Thanks!

Have you checked to see if the bolts are siezed in the bushings?

That will change the job to a kegger.

what bushings do you have? did you also get the inner sleeves?
this is a bitch of a job. many a press has been tested by these bushings. I burned a set out and then had a shop press the sleeves... might as well do the ball joint too though.... Good luck. Id suggest finding a spare set to just swap in rather than trying to do it all in one go.

    Already did the LBJs.
Haven't bought anything yet. Leaning towards poly. I'd buy the cam sleeves and all. Almost positive they are the stock bushings in currently. I've thought about getting a 2nd set at Yota Yard or somewhere to get the bushings pressed in ahead of time.

If they are froze it's a coin toss over just buying new control arms with bushings.

    Warning: rant coming!

I've been rebuilding wrecked Toyota trucks for 20 years. I'm on my sixth truck.

Every, fucking, one, had at least one froze cam bolt!

Cut the fuckers out and replace with a new control arm assemble AFTER I lubed the shit out of the new bushing/bolts with anti sieze!

I have a set of stock arms with whiteline bushings installed I will sell you. They are painted with gray steel-it and only had 10kish miles on them when pulled. PM if your interested.
