That’s been suggested to me many times. I just don’t want to do another drivetrain like that again, I want something fresh. I think I’ll be doing a 2JZ-GE NA with plans for eventual turbo. It’s cheaper than a -GTE.

I think hes referring to the bombproof Chrysler 300 drive train.

 

The E320 parked in the garage shares the same drivetrain as the Chrysler 300 from the late 90’s. It’s weird opening an American car and seeing the engine cover says Mercedes-Benz. This was during the Daimler-Chrysler joint venture.
