Anyone mount solar panel to tonneau cover?

Hello, everyone!

First time poster, but PROUD long time owner of 2008 Tacoma double cab long bed. I posted the question below in the "Tonneau Covers/Caps/Shells" forum, but no responses:

Anyway, I mounted a Prinsu cab rack to my roof and, to that, mounted a 255 watt solar panel. Did that with 24 steel right angle corner braces and 1/4x20 bolts. If all 24 of those fail, a 1/8" galvanized steel braided rope running through the panel frame will hold it to the rack as well. Did this back in early January. I wanted to double my voltage, so really want to mount another identical solar panel to my Undercover tonneau cover.

I was thinking of using these mounts since I do not want to drill any holes in my tonneau:

I'm in the process of finally mounting my Prinsu cab and topper racks, a seemingly endless process it feels like right now. I'm making some custom rubber spacers since the ones they sent me don't work w/my 1st gen truck. I'm planning on mounting 2 100 watt PV panels that I have once I get the rack up. In the back I'm going to mount a 270 degree awning.
The pic. shows the 1" tall 3/4" diam. spacers that came. I'm using 1 1/2" diam. 1" tall (plus some others) rubber spacers instead.

 

Two Prinsus, nice! What cap do you have? Do you use it for camping, or storing your stuff? Watertight?

Yeah, strange things are abound. I have a 'snugtop', I use for camping/storing etc. I built a drawer system back there so I can have 2 6 ft. drawers plus a sleeping plat-form.
I looked into tracks for the topper, but even more holes would need to be drilled. The intention is water-tight, using some RTV sealer for that.
