Beasly Knob ORV park. Medium to hard trails. Unfortunately, closed until April 1 I believe.

@Thatbassguy needs to keep it on the easier side because he needs his rig to get him to Wisconsin after wheeling. If there is a trail that has scenic waterfalls, hard spots with bypasses, etc. that would be cool. I have seen on Gaia there seem to be a bunch of short trails that seem close together. That would be fine as well. Looking for suggestions from the locals and hoping to meet some good down to earth folks to have fun with.

Nothing really challenging in GA anymore, you'd have to venture to TN if you want some harder spots. Mostly everything is now 2wd accessible here

Looking forward to meeting some other TW folks!

As long as I can avoid anything that's likely to snap a CV, and really deep mud, I should be fine. I will have some recovery gear, and have a winch, so I'm not afraid of getting stuck. :)

I'm not up to date as others on trails anymore, all the good ones got closed so I just went to TN for offroad parks. But yeah stay away from Beasley Knob if it's been raining and other than that you'll be fine to hit anything here without breaking stuff (unless you're being dumb and going off trail, then who knows what you could break)

Yeah I know. Before "overloading" became a big thing there were at least 3-4 trails that were fun/challenging. Trey Mtn, Charlies Creek, Bell Mtn (damn that was a fun trail) and Flatlands were all fun with a little bit of a challenge.

AOP in South Pittsburgh, Tennessee (Coppinger Cove is right by there too, fun set of trails with a variety of difficulty), Windrock in Oliver Springs, TN and Morris Mtn. in Delta, Alabama is a decent park too. Haven't been to Holytree near Huntsville, Alabama but have heard good things.

All depends on where you are coming and going from tbh. AOP is my favorite because it's not gigantic like Windrock (could be intimidating due to the size) and AOP is more laid back, can drink beer on the trail, it's smaller and it's got a mini race course near the camping area

Thanks, I'm familiar with Windrock and stuff in South Pittsburgh from biking, was hoping for some stuff a little closer in GA. I know of Iron Mountain, but it looks like a mudfest mostly.

    We'll see.

People say there is nothing challenging in Wisconsin, then they see the rock garden on the Pipeline and say "fuck that!" :D

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I have never been, and will look for some videos. I did see a couple pics of some buggy’s, so that tells me there is some challenges out there.
I seriously doubt people would trailer their buggies for a FSR road type thing.

Tame, but fun. Didn't see a soul the entire 2 hours we were out there. Mostly gravel but there are several climbs, small mud holes, and ruts. Felt like a great way to get our feet wet. Left the trail a little cleaner than we found it, too.

    Who knew about these places?

The first article suggests that radioactivity is still being monitored. I wonder if we can find out any recent readings.

I have been here. The wife and I took the taco about 2 years ago. This could explain my severe mental thought processes though. :D
