yea and then you go 100mph everywhere you go and you think ...... 'hmmmm why is everyone going so slow?' It was kinda cool to know that with even a modest sport bike you are probably faster than most every car on the road..... at least in my younger years, that somehow I survived....:amen:

Why does it have to be single digits outside this week? I got stuff to do... Mother nature, you suck sometimes.

Those brackets over time will chip-off your paint from the edge of your tailgate. They look really nice but they flex too much. I had mine on only for a few days. Sent them back and found a different way to mount my antenna.
For something small like additional reverse lights they are great! But for those whips? They are not ridgid enough.

    Enough for now
good to know, I’m going to take a look at it after work today. I haven’t noticed any wear on the tailgate paint so far but I also haven’t looked closely. I don’t run the whip all the time but have more often recently.

    Good looking out!

I was only running a 2' whip and mine was chipping the paint in the first week. Too bad. I really liked the look.

It was the OEM bulb glare that convinced me to fix it, not the LEDs.

Yeah, like @huskcummerbund I don't have LEDs and found the blockers helpful. The plain old OEMs made a big bright spot on the camera that was distracting to my brain when looking at the screen. But I'm also the "turn down the volume to focus better" type.

To each their own, sounds like you're saving $11!

haha. Sure hope he doesn't do that. Eventually he will run out of brain.
Now, if he wants peace of mind, then he can follow your advice. (When saying it, think: calm, serene, tranquil, peace, etc.)

I see a lot of posts with that statement spelled incorrectly. Usually let it pass since it could have been spell-checker that goofed it up.
But I knew you had a worthy sense of humor that I could point it out. You can still blame spell-checker if you want, though.

Does covering up the Toyota emblem affect the sensors?

I like that a good idea Gorilla tape, no need to purchase parts now to hide the light glare.
