2004 4Runner with 228k SR5 4x4 Original owner for $7,500. You guys think that’s a decent deal?

 

I sold my 98 4Runner SR5 4x4 with 120k miles for $6500 in 2009. I don’t know what’s a good deal anymore

Not bad, but I wouldn't want the first year of the 4.0

Look for a V8, unless that 4.0 has history of maintenance including the head gasket.

Got rid of my '98 4R with 289k miles for 16k.

 

I heard they’re asking 7200.

prices are certainly crazy. I saw a photo of a Ford pu priced at 42k with added dealer markup of 30k!

Kinda want to, but I also have a lead currently on a 5VZ-FE with 72k on it and it's being compression tested and leak down tested in a few days.

Got in an accident about 2 weeks ago. Bent the front of the frame. Insurance wants to replace the frame which is a major pain in the ass and takes forever - but they don't think it's worth totaling.
Just took it by another shop and got a much better feeling from them as far as professionalism and everything else. They think the Tundra is worth totaling so we'll see

 

Well then looks like a posible search for new ride?
