The UCLA frame explains it all. Most everyone there is an asshole whether they drive or not!
Remember how they treated our (USMC) recruiters a while back? They're lower than ticks on a skunk.

Reminds me of a story from my youth. My buddies truck broke down in traffic one night cruising the beach when we were in our 20s. It was an 81 Hilux pick-up with 22R motor. The PO had put an inline electric fuel pump on it because he was too lazy to replace the stock failed unit. The electric one took a dirt nap while he was stuck sitting in traffic and myself and another buddy were behind him in my truck. We were trying to figure out what was wrong with it and the cops and a tow truck rolled up. Told us we were holding up traffic and it needed to be towed. Tow guy was going to charge him $200 to tow it 2 blocks to a storage yard because the police wanted it off the strip, then he was going to have to pay again to have it towed home from there. We convinced the female officer to have the tow driver standby for 15 minutes and allow us a reasonable time to get it running, which he reluctantly agreed to do. We ended up draining the washer fluid reservoir and running a piece of vacuum line from the tank to the carb inlet. Siphoned some gas out of the gas tank into a snapple bottle we found curbside and filled the washer reservoir with gas. Pushed the washer button and viola, instant fuel to the carb lol. He drove the truck 35 miles home that night pushing the windshield washer button every time the truck started to sputter to fill the float bowl back up. Had to stop twice on the way home to refill the washer tank.

    Tow for broken truck $200
Impressing female cop, tow truck driver and coming thru a problem in a jam.....priceless!

sorry for threadjack your post sparked an old memory !

My wife has a degenerative disk disease. Had a surgery that put in a titanium cage around her spine. She has bad days and really bad days. Not the same as what you have, but I understand. I am that close to getting the eggshell parking stickers for the jerks that take up the handipacked spots.

I admit I do that too. Before the rona this wasn't a thing and those were/are legitimate parking spots. In that regard I still use them that way. It isn't a regulated spot like a handicapped spot. Even Veteran spots aren't the same as handicapped.

And traffic controls on private property aren't legally enforceable....so when we get to that 4 way stop & I barrel thru it you better not get upset. Where's the line on what is or isn't acceptable? Interesting and a bit entitled, that view you have. This coming from an EV driver that loves an opportunity to "educate" those who feel the same way about charging spots.

Now in GA if you get a placard, you cannot get a HC tag.
My wife chose to get a placard. We have 4 vehicles in the family. She primarily drives 2 of them, could not get 2 HC tags.

Well that's unfortunate. It was really handy with my wife's mother in her later years. Her car had the tag, and when we'd go in my wife's car or my brother in law's car we'd use the placard.

Just spitballin' but I'd guess abuse of the system spoiled it for folks.
