i know when I towed tow behind welders with the Tacoma I had an assortment of the male hitch inserts with different height drops to keep things level.

Plus the every popular pintle hitch.

 

I can tell you when mine was done the last time. Nov 20, 2019. Because at 8:45p the night before, I was in the garage and the damned thing started leaking all over. I had to be up at 3:00a the next morning and heading to the hospital for a 4 night stay in the hospital after that morning's lumbar fusion and instrumentation surgery. This shit NEVER happens when your just sitting around wasting time, does it?

IMO, these are pretty easy to change and I had just got done balking at my neighbor for spending $1800 to have a single plumber come and do it at the speed of smell. Spent the better part of a day dragging his tired ass and the garage was totally empty since they were moving.

A good quality 40 gallon unit w/10yr warranty was a bit over $600 plus a new thermocouple and misc fittings. My other neighbor friends came over the next morning and knocked out the job while my wife was still at the hospital waiting for me to get out surgery. Before I left that morning, I laid out all the tools and cleared the area. They pounded it out and left the bad one on the side of the house and it cost me a $10 spot for disposal to pick it up on trash day.

I've only ever been able to get one element out to replace it. I find that after a few years, they're generally so corroded in place that there is ZERO chance of getting them out without doing more damage.

I'm not sure I appreciate all the catty remarks on my bumper. hey at least it's legal and I got one.

We paid $1,500 late last year through Home Depression for a new 50 gallon to be installed. I didn't think that was too bad.

I just fixed my mom's washing machine for $25.

She already bought a new one.

She gave me the old one so I could use the sheet metal for my plasma table.

I decided to hook it up and see what it was doing...or not doing.

The drum and agitator we're both turning together in the same direction, but only about 3" per agitation.

The drum and agitator are supposed to turn in the opposite directions.

20 minutes on the "net," found me the issue.

Bad transmission actuator. 3 minutes to replace the part.

Works like a dream now!

We replaced our water heater 8 or 10 years ago, 50 gallon electric for less than $400. Just checked Lowe’s and if you buy 3 you get 6% off!

I don't know... scale models of hot-water tanks and toilets might not have the same, wide-spread appeal of farming implements!

 

And they usually don’t smell like poop

 

A lady named Debbie came up to me on the beach about 20 minutes ago. She asked if I was going to be there for a while, I said yes. She asked if I could record her wedding for her and handed me her phone. I asked if she wanted it portrait or landscape, she said "you're doing me a favor, you decide". Landscape it is.
