How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

    Eastern Mass, placed my deposit on 2/7, was told expect 3-4 months. Spec'd out for an OffRoad, Manual, Lunar Rock, Premium. Trading in my 16 Silverado now that I'm basically done working on my house, no more daily heavy lumber yard runs. Plus my wife just took delivery of her Bronco 2dr this month, I got the bug for a new vehicle. Maybe I'll have it in time for summer.

    Got my vin today. My apologies if this has been brought up in this thread but anyone know how i can track the vehicle now that i have a real vin?

    You can sign up for the free trial of the Toyota app - additionally, if you have a real VIN, then your salesperson should be able to given you updates via the dealer portal.

    The app will give you some vehicle stats - started, doors opened/closed, mileage, tire pressure. Only the dealer can tell you where your truck is in the process.

    Congrats! Did you spec yours out with your dealer or is it a truck they already had coming? Just curious. My dealer said they could aboslutely "order" mine, but some threads are saying it's not guaranteed and you may have to settle for certain aspects. I've never ordered a vehicle before.

    Thanks a bunch for the video, great info. I was expecting a little more direct of a process, since my wife ordered a Bronco that came exactly to her specs. I never knew anything about the Toyota system. Guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed!

    You're Welcome! That question gets asked A LOT (I myself have asked it!) - I wonder if there is a way to *pin* that video some how. Maybe a mod knows.

    and, yeah, unfortunately - it's very much a wait, pray, see approach - especially in this market. Most on here will suggest that, if you can, to spread your allocation requests as far and wide as you can and only with a refundable deposit. It's the _ONLY_ way to increase your chances of getting what you really desire.

    It's finally here. Deposit placed in July, a little reset of expectations (didn't want to keep waiting for a PRO, so a few weeks ago changed to an OR)...it arrived and I'm picking her up Thursday (if all goes according to plan). I'll finally get to put a worthwhile image up to replace the male sign!
