So here is my almost complete 2kw CDH setup in my 3rd gen Tacoma. I am getting a go GFC style camper in a couple weeks and am excited to be nice and warm in the Colorado mountains! Disclaimers: my exhaust connections are nice and tight and vent out the back of the truck, we have a very good CO detector for the camper, and I know my fuel tank and pump are a little higher than the heater, but it should work just fine.

Anyone been able to find a T nut for GFC’s for a reasonable price? I know that GFC and Gzila (or something) are minimum $3 each, but that adds up quick. Just got a RTT in .

If any of you are in the socal area and are willing to let @N minus 1 measure your v1 camper please reach out to him. He's willing to make the molle panels for the v1 campers also but just needs to take measurements.

    Thanks!!!

Thanks! Everything works great. I designed it myself based off all the goose gear stuff… only thing I would do different is buy an actual camper instead… (four wheel camper or similar)

Does anyone have a GFC in Utah near Salt Lake I would be able to check out in person? Heavily leaning towards a GFC as a step up from our Leer topper camping setup but would like to be able to see one in person first to make sure it would work for us.

Dang, wish I'd checked TW at some point over the weekend and I would have let you check it out on my way back down from the install :(

Was quite the drive hustling back from MT to San Diego, but I made it, and couldn't be happier with the product!

Picked mine up on Saturday. Excited to start building it out.

Anyone have a source for just the spring rods to hold the rain fly up? CVT seems to have them here: https://cascadiatents.com/spring-rods.html They have four versions. I would assume the only difference is length. There isn't a description for any of them though. Other than that, the only place I could find that sells them was some website out of Australia.

    I got mine through Gzila:
    https://www.gzila.com/collections/go-fast-camper/products/rain-fly-pole-holder?variant=39498809966672

But I needed both the blocks and the poles. The poles included in what I got are from ARB. Here’s a site selling just the poles for five bucks. I know nothing about the site just linking for the info on the rods mainly. But that price is fair I think.

for only $1 extra, I couldn't pass it up haha.

I was a bit iffy when ordering, but after seeing it I'm very glad I went with the red.

Has anyone here ever transferred a gfc to another truck? If so, what was your method?

They have videos on GFCs youtube page that shows the best ways to move from one truck to another

6112's/5160's with Deaver stage 3, GFC camper, Evo 10S and home-built bed drawers. Solar w/100 Ah battery.
Heading to Montana from San Diego next week for my install. Was going to take the long way home but seems pretty cold up there and I am not setup for that right now.
