They do that crap up here too. Park right on the highway and start playing. I am surprised we havent had anyone killed or hit yet. I cant believe these parents that think its a good idea to do this.

They are the same type of people that will post up next to you when you are shooting and just start blasting in every direction.

If there is only only one lesson to be learned from the last two years, birth control needs to be easy and free.

Really sad to hear about that story and I can say that I am not one of those that park on the side of the road for safety reasons.
Plan on going this weekend just for the day and thank you all for the feedback.

    Agreed.

I always just wonder what goes through peoples minds when they do any of that stuff. And especially the shooting one.

    So random thought….
Today is 2/22/22, but really written out as 2022 kills the coolness, but if you think about the fact that In 200 years it’ll be 2/22/2222 is pretty cool. So your children’s children may be around for that day. Next time a cool sequence like this happens won’t be for 1111 years after that.

Another one is, will you possible be around still for the tri centennial, so 2076, I’d be in my early 90s in that case so who knows.

And that’s my random brain thoughts so far today, carry on my wayward sons.

They should just put up a sign “open season for towing” and let the tow trucks go wild.

So I just got off the phone with Progressive. I wound up insuring the Blazer as a motorhome. Since the camper is open to the inside of the vehicle they allowed me to call it a motorhome, insure it at stated value, get full coverage, get personal effects reimbursement, roadside etc. Has anyone else done this to a vehicle that isnt normally insured as a motorhome?

Also what about registration? Im going to attempt to register it as a mobile home as well. Anyone do this? Ill register it in Flagstaff where there is no emissions testing but what other benefits/drawbacks might come from this?

Got a dusting last night night. Not the 1-2" that was expected. It just started snowing and not supposed to stop till around 1am. We will see what we get and how long I am going to have the shop open today. May close early and go home.

About 9” according to my weather stick in my back yard out here. But then there’s bare spots and snow drifts up over 2ft from the high winds. So the 9” is probably pretty accurate for an average. Boss told me to stay home and he’s probably gonna close shop early. So I get to rebuild my front control arms today.

Going up to Flagstaff this weekend for a Bachelor party. What's good up there? It's been a few years since I've been and not just driven through.

Theres quite a bit of great stuff thats back open since covid left

For food: Atria, Shift Kitchen, Pizzicleta, Brix.

For bars: Monte V basement lounge is back open fiiinally. Theres a little known 2nd story wine bar called FLG Terroir thats rad. Pay n Take is always a good choice as well.

Breweries obviously the best are still Mother Road and Dark Sky.

For the rest, in context I live west of Snowsk8air right at the base of Mt Elden and we have a solid 6" in our yard, but across the street they are close to 10". The wind rips down the mountain blowing over our house. The street hasnt been plowed and is above sidewalk level.
Oh, and Flagstaff School District did a snow day. No school today.
