How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

    They build using 3 shifts throughout the day and night. Weekends/holidays off but on occasion a Saturday in the states. Believe the same in Mexico but Mexican holidays, not
    American holidays

    Funny you mention Sheehy in Fredericksburg, is that where you're ordering from? I bought my 2017 from there. Emailed them the other day about placing an order but their internet salesperson keeps sending me these copy/paste emails that completely ignore the questions that I'm asking. Looks like I might have to set aside some time to drive down there.

    I put a deposit on one there, you really can't "order" one. I bought from there in 2016 when it was Rosner. The salesman I felt with then, is the same one I'm working with now. Saige Thomas: saigethomas@sheehy.com

    i'm a factory worker. there is about a million reasons for a factory to be behind.
    employees calling out sick, parts flow, maintenance downtime, power outages, internet outages, i'll say parts flow again because it's a big one

    I posted up last week that I cancelled two deposits, one at Freeman Toyota in CA and one at Stapp Interstate Toyota in CO. Freeman Toyota refunded my $500 immediately, and Stapp initially refunded the $500, but has now CANCELLED MY REFUND. I'm sure they will claim it was a mistake, but as always stay vigilant - some dealers will still try to fuck you even if you don't buy a car from them.

    Might not be worth it. My friend was able to put a deposit on a Rav4 allocation. For my Tacoma request, no deposit was asked and the salesguy just said "I'm in line for an allocation when one is matched up". Didn't give me the warm fuzzies...

    Told the dealer what I wanted for the trade. At first they said they couldn't meet my number. I said fine I'll just sell to to Vroom or Carvana because they will meet my number. I'll get back to you after I sell it. They then decided they would take the trade at my price. Signed a buyers order and gave them a $3,000 deposit on an allocated truck they say will be here end of March 1st of April. They told me I could just drive the trade until the truck comes in.
