BTW... Make sure you go ahead and DL the update. Can't log in until until 11am our time. But... expect to be in a queue for a long period of time. This isn't unusual on an expansion as big as this. And, expect bugs also. No game launches without bugs. They have already identified and put out a list of bugs before the expansion even launches. So give it a week or so to settle down. This is a pretty ambitious expansion.

 

Be happy you're on PS5. PS4 owners have to DL a large patch just to play The Witch Queen. And that patch won't be available for DL until 11am our time. Took me 13 mins to DL and install the new expansion with the new Fiber Optic. Glad I went on and had it installed before the expansion.

 

Patch downloaded this morning. I have meetings all day with only 2 half hour breaks, so likely won't be on until this evening.

 

Well… my bet turned out correctly. Got the Trials Scout Rifle before it’s available.

I gave fair warning about how to level up your character. The boxes from dares worked just like I thought they would. All you had to do was take my advice. Just sayin....

Been doing the Legendary campaign. It's no joke lol.

 

Absolutely brutal lol

 

It's not terrible in a fireteam. But it is hard no doubt. I like that. Add to that, you get two chests and well... that's pretty awesome. There are so many new features to the game now? It's hard to know where to begin. I just found out that you can buy all the extra void grenades from Ikora. Didn't know that. Just happened to go up to her and she has everything.

 

Yeah, been on it all day with a team. Nice to have all of the grenades available. Haven't used some of them before..

 

Yeah no kidding. I just picked up the suppressor grenades and set my fragment to go along with that. Now I'm just trying to figure out a good void build while playing around.

 

Definitely been fun running void again. Feel like I haven't done that in ages unless it was to use the bubble in a specific event.

Edit: The Glaive is also pretty fun

Busy week for me.. got to play through the first mission yesterday afternoon, did the weapon crafting tutorial.. but not much else. Tried the first mission on Legendary, but kept dying at the Hive section and got frustrated. May try it again now that I've got a couple of decent legendarys.

I'm hoping to get through the campaign this weekend.. hit me up if you see me on.

 

I haven't tried anything at Legendary yet. Even on Classic I'm occasionally getting killed in 2 hits in the open areas, although the missions haven't been too tough. I did that closest Lost Sector and died quite a bit, so I imagine that is what Legendary is like. I've only just started the 2nd part of the campaign, keep getting distracted by the new goodies and keep messing around with new stuff. I'm liking the glaive so far.

 

Glaive is a lot of fun. I’m leveling it up now. The campaign on legendary is no joke. We fucked around in it yesterday but only finished up 4 missions maybe? We focused on other things also. I’m having trouble trying to figure out where you get the patterns for the weapons you can craft? I’ve gotten a few somehow but no idea how I got them. There are a few I’d really like to craft but no idea how?

 

Oh... and to show that this method actually works... Logged into my Titan (who I haven't done one thing on yet) because today is Helmet Armor day for the 1550 Lost Sector. My Titan is 1350 so obviously I couldn't even do any damage if I tried to go in there right now. But by using the method that I outlined earlier, I had full engrams on my Titan and did the Legendary Lost Sector before reset last week. Those exotics that dropped went directly to the Postmaster. Turned in a few engrams so I could pull the Exotic out of the Postmaster from the Legendary Lost Sector and here it is...

Loreley Splendor Helm. No way I could have gotten it before 1550 but here I am... 1350 with the new Exotic Helm.

This works every time. You just have to have your engrams full on your character so the exotics will go to the Postmaster. You work the system that is put in place. I'm hoping tomorrow is Arms or Legs for the Legendary Lost Sector so I can pull them out of my postmaster for the WL.

 

Almost done with legendary campaign. Just finished 'The Cunning' yesterday.. That was a pain lol
