    my first bike came with fancy Hepco Becker ‘crash bars’. I took them off after I saw the pile of shattered blocks behind the shop. I figured I’d rather buy a valve cover, or even new head than a whole new bike.

    I don’t know how I feel about truck sliders. To me most of them look like levers that would either mangleat or just torque the frame if you really pounded a rock.

    I’d like to see a honeycombed, inverted wedge with a full length weld or about a dozen half inch, grade 8 bolts and full length backer plate. That I would buy.
