Yeah, later in the day we probably ended up with a bit more than an inch of fresh stuff, just enough to make it more slippery!

 

This may be a dumb question, and I tried (albeit a pathetic attempt) to use the search function.... is there a way with the 2nd gen to use fog lights without the prerequisite headlights?

I try to check in here now and then. Seeing some new trucks on the feed! Very happy to see the group growing.

For those that know, I sold my Tacoma with the dream of living full time on the road. Well, I thought I would throw up an update. We have been working hard to get outfitted and ready for the past 6 months. And we now have a date set. We will be selling the house in June. Still have a lot of stuff to try and sell off, we can use every dime we can get. And simply a lot of stuff still to get rid of. We are taking nothing with us that we cant carry.
Its all risky, and we choose to take our chances.



PS: I have a single 285 70 R17 Goodyear Duratrack tire. Never used, No damage. It was the stock spare tire off the new truck. I have no need for it as I have replaced it with a 35. Been pretty quiet in here. Looking to put a little adventure together for the group some time between March 19th-27th. If you're interested, would you want to do a single day activity of wheeling, or a multi-day adventure with wheeling and camping?

 

I'll be in Packwood 25th-27th; otherwise I'd be keen!

 

Who was that squad of goons at the top of Larch sat AM? I was driving down in my friends Taco after we finished shooting. I'm an FJ guy so I don't know the secret wave. Looked like they expected us to stop.

 

No secret wave. I always make eye contact and visibly laugh my ass off when people throw the "VW" gang sign at me when I'm driving my wife's Golf. Sometimes I point at them while laughing too.

 

So funny when I see groups out and about yet never see any meets posted across any platforms. I guess we are just not in the cool club

 

I usually just assume it was formed on the facebook groups, and that's a huge nope for me.

 

Or as shocking as this sounds they might be real life friends on an afternoon outing opposed to internet strangers from an online message board.

 

What is this real life friends you speak of?

 

I think I remember friends... That was before Myspace right?
