No worries and All good! I like the vision area surface it covers, practically 2 lanes! Main reason for me is to keep an eye of my bike rack on the side and when I put the RTT on. Will post pic when I find it.. but overall, good upgrade for safety purpose and field of vision.

It was bittersweet watching the new owner drive my former truck away for sure. I loved my Tacoma! But, the amount I was able to sell it for and the fact that there was a truck coming in to my Ford dealer built with 95% of what I wanted (only missing the 36gal tank and factory brake controller, the latter I’ve already ordered and scheduled install) that wasn’t spoken for made the decision pretty straightforward. We tow a pop up trailer and camp out of my truck with 2 kids and a dog; the Tacoma was just smaller than all of us wanted. Sure we all fit, but we were crammed in the Taco.

More power, more space, better fuel economy.

Got my 5.29 gears, ECGS bearing & a CMC done at Sibi Built. These guys have top notch service and provide the cleanest work I have seen from a shop. Highly recommend these guys for all your truck needs if you’re in SoCal!

Lower offset was leading to rub on the stock UCA’s at wheel lock. Not sure how things would play out on lower offset now that I upgraded my suspension and got billet UCA’s. Geometry is different now for sure. Plus IIRC my KO2’s are 11.5” wide compared to stock 9” so the negative offset makes sense to me. 12 mm is just shy of a half an inch so they don't stick out all that much more.

I've heard from a few techs at local shops here in PHX about 4.88 and 5.29 gears having a bad hum. Are you experiencing that at all? I bumped up to 285/70r17s and have definitely found a want to gear up higher. I'd love to be in 6th gear at 75mph lol.

Are those the stock fenders? They look wider, like a Raptor fender.

Does that also support heated mirrors? I'd pick them up just to see if I preferred the curved edge to the separate mirror on the SpotterMirror setup.

I had a 2001 Jetta with blue tinted mirrors and it helped big-time with jerks and their brights, plus made me feel fancy driving my knockoff Audi A4.

Not a huge fan of the giant blinker myself, but could learn to love it if the mirror was dope.

No, they’re McNeil +3 fiberglass I put on and had painted. I’ve got +5’s I still need to put on cause I’m rubbing still on bigger stuff along with my bedsides but fiberglass is a major pain in the ass to install so I’m lagging

I definitely hear a hum... I got Revolution gears, which are supposedly quieter then Nitro... It's not loud enough to bother me considering my roof racks wind makes more noise hahhaa but I probably wouldn't want it any louder then it is. I have very sensitive hearing with cars (used to be a racecar mechanic) so my opinion may be different...

Installed the curt 7pin to 5pin trailer harness plug and if it works like I’m hoping I’ll be tapping into for switched power for the Garmin mini2. The garmin hardwire kit needs constant, switched and ground and I already have 10awg ran to the back for the fridge and hoping this trailer plug tap would keep me from running a single wire back for switched. I went with the 5pin over 4 for no reason other than I already have a 4 so why not have a 5 instead of 2x 4pin. Anyone have thoughts on fusing the switched wire tap to the trailer plug (was my first thought) or if it’s redundant? The hardwire kit has 1 inline fuse already but I think for the constant wire only.

Went a bit extra/over the top on some gatorbacks- But having an issue on the rear brace brackets not lining up. Waiting for a response to secure that last mounting bolt. I like them, heavy duty, looks good, more coverage but not a good start when the bracket looks off and not lining up with the holes
