That's a horrible idea. What time?
Survived Puppy Day 3. Tessa did much better on the leash, and actually did about a 1/4 mile with few corrections. We now have a vet lined up, potty training seems to be going well, as she got my attention yesterday to go outside. Signed up for training and doggy day care near by, where she is right now. Socialization and play time, and getting familiar with the center where Tessa and her dog dad will get some training.

Me. Two hour nap. She's exhausting.

Today, work, a little shopping after work, then get the pup home and work on some more training. We are going to try and have her free (supervised) reign of the first floor by the weekend. And our first exposure to snow with her potentially Friday morning.

    Snowpocalypse has begun.
Fresh pow 2” at south rim. 5-7” in Flagstaff. I40 shut down in Williams. Shitshow on other areas of 40 and I17 is a mess with crashes from people who think they can drive in this stuff.

All that to say-they better get their shit together, I have to drive to Phoenix today. Thankfully no deadline. Will wait till the sun melts the stuff a bit and plow operations can do their thing. More snow expected today though…

Yesterday's precipitation was those little ice crystals. When plowing it flowed like salt, today it's rock hard. I got the driveway pretty much cleaned up. Now let the sun do its job. We should see a sunny 20 degrees.

    Sounds like fun.
When Coco was a pup, we went to puppy classes. We both learned a lot.
    Good luck.

Thx. And yes, it is. But it's getting me moving, so I'll take the extra work. And it helps that she likes us.

Happy Hump Day geezers! 54* yesterday and today only 30*. Come on spring... This crazy fluctuating weather is why I don't ice fish around here anymore. 20*, 45*, 11*, 50*. It's absolutely nuts. We keep hearing about snowmobiles and quads going through the ice, as well as cars and trucks. There's no consistency to the thickness of the ice anymore due to the weather changing so often. It's better further up north but SE Michigan lake ice is scary now. We used to park right on the ice when I was younger. We never saw anyone go through the ice back then. There could be as many as 50-100 ice shanties on a single lake (keep in mind that Oakland County, where I live and work, has 358 lakes!). My ice fishing gear is all stored up in the rafters now.

Looking forward to it. She is a smart pup and I want to take advantage of it. Especially with wanting to take her on the off road and camping ventures.

I'd send you some of our excess heat, but as of 0300 this morning we don't have any.

You've been here. You know what traffic is like for me, anything more and i can't take it
    I know
Who's going to be my DD?
Just feels extra cold since we've had such a mild winter so far. Gotta ease into crap like this - going from 50 to -20 in three days is a bit much
    Planning on it!

It took me an hour to go 12 miles yesterday through downtown.

Meanwhile, your main road is Jackrabbit lane...lol

But those rabbits are still slower than a 5 ton Chebby with a small apt on back. Gotta watch out!

if you have all those clothes why dont you wear any of them yourself?

and the traffic on jackrabbit is why my 8am meeting turned into a 9am meeting. bad wreck about 1/4 mile north of the office and traffic was super backed up. most of my coworkers were stranded in the mess
