The new diff is in and we are waiting for front brake parts. We accidentally damaged two of the front shoes pulling the drums off. My guy spent hours fighting the drums to get them off. 4x4 makes it a total pain… :frusty:

I got those years ago - huge improvement. They are available in different strengths too 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 etc.

If you wipe down the lenses on any safety glasses with Pledge furniture polish it really helps the dirt not stick to them and can renew glasses that are a bit older. The polish is an anti static, that helps with the dust and also fills in the light scratches.

Clean them with ammonia free Windex first then splat the Pledge on both sides and rub it around with your fingers for about 30 seconds, then buff it off with a clean cloth. The effect will last for weeks.

This works on goggles and face shields obviously but also the plastic shields on a bench grinder or table saw and the overlay on touch screens too. Try it and be surprised.

If you can ship one to Utah, I'll seriously buy one. I could make one myself, but I'd rather give a cool kid some walkin around money.

I could do that, but it wouldn't be cast iron.

    What is it used for?

1.5 was a while ago for me... :pout:

I was in the store and forgot my "car glasses" last week, you don't realize how many things you try to read while shopping until you can't, for example trying to see if a toothpaste is paste or gel (I like the gel) -- I found myself standing across the aisle trying to read labels on the spice rack. What a p-i-a...

That's awful nice of you thinking of him like that, he may have to make some more cause people been buying them fast when they found out he made them.

I'm betting a glass round table top or holders for a big potted plant.

    Yes.

It's already sold...or mostly. When I deliver it I get the rest I'm owed.

Can I post pics in this thread as well as the welding thread?

Never seen them before, came up on auction site but they are cast iron dutch oven holder. Cant tell by the pic of scale size but thought it was neat. I know what dutch oven looks like so that gives you size

    Thanks!

That helps. The design looks pretty simple.
