I thought my theory would break the internet yesterday.
    Here’s some eye candy.

Nice! I sent mine to the dealer down the street. Still in the "received" stage.

If I remember correctly you can't get them separately. Guy in a youtube video said that at least. I never confirmed it though.

They’re starting to trickle out to dealers it seems. Here’s the Toyota Parts link: https://parts.toyota.com/p/109282551/PT946352205F.html. All the specs seem to match up to what we’re looking for, but no pics. You can see in the supersessions list the part number that was posted earlier from the person who had them (PT946352215F), but for some reason the main number is PT946352205F. If you just google the part number with dashes (PT946-35220-5F) you’ll see some dealers are already selling them but not all. I tried to get in on it but the shipping is astronomical so I’ll have to wait until one close enough for pickup has them. If anyone gets these let me know!

Cheaper to buy the truck keep the wheels and trade it in with different wheels.

This place is only $120 to have 4 shipped to me: https://toyotaparts.mikecalverttoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-taco-alloy-wh-flt-br-pt946352205f

Should I be thinking about 5? Do people usually replace the spare when getting alloy wheels?

Personal preference. I like having a full size, matching spare tire at a minimum. And, if you have a matching 5th wheel as well then you can do a 5 tire rotation and theoretically get 25% more life out of each set of tires / you aren't left with a brand new, unused spare that you need to get rid of next time you buy tires. I just recently picked up a matching spare wheel so I'm excited to start 5 tire rotations :)

I prefer 5 as well, however the spare takes a lot of abuse from everyday driving.

I do 5 wheel rotation on our LC100 and every time i drop the spare there appears to be a new nick or scratch.

Perhaps a cover could help? Does anyone make something like that?

Just ordered 5 myself, great find on that place! I’ll update as soon as I get them. Also good points on maybe getting a cover, hadn’t thought of that. My end goal is to have a rear bumper where I can mount it but in the meantime would be nice to have some protection.
