Ill check my set up tonight and let you know. I don't think I have a wire all the way to the battery but I don't remember off hand.

Possibly for the dome light in the topper. I ran one to use the light even if the truck was off.

That makes sense! I think I have that same thing going on but then the brake light is in the tail light.

Yeah I think it was for a dome too. I couldnt tell if it was a dome light or just the backing to the 3rd brake light. I didnt see anything else so it must be it

What is the black plastic tubing called you use to contain your wires? I always see it on factory stuff but have never seen it on a shelf to know what it is called haha. I always just end up using a ton of split loom but it looks bulky and junky.

Finally got around to installing my Scosche wireless phone charger. Works great! Purchased from Amazon.

After painting st whl ornament bezels and putting back together and programming radio and turning off seat belt beeper, went to drive it to work next morning and the dang horn was going off by itself after a coupla blocks so took it back home and drove the xB......turns out the freakin spring loaded bolts holding the airbag to the mounting frame that works horn when you push on it and bolts into st whl were loose and it was touching on it's own when turning the wheel. new one for sure. tightened them up, put wheel back together and went for test spin and all is good. just glad it was that simple because I was at a loss for a minute trying to figure it out.

Hope it works better than the stock one my 3rd gen Sport had. If the phone slid 1/4 inch the charger stopped charging. Was the biggest pain finding a sweet spot for charging. Ended up just using the usb cord in that one.

I replace the burned out bulb in my shifter. $6 from the dealer. Easier fix than I thought...

Bummer man. This one has three tabs that hold the phone in place. Its just big enough to hold my iPhone 12 Pro Max with a fairly slim case, but anything bigger would not fit within the tabs. So far so good. I drove around, the combo of the magnet and the tabs hold it in place pretty well.

I have a pop and lock on my tailgate and it works great - Its been on there for quite some time and I've never had issues with it. One of the best add ons on my truck actually.

This stuff I found on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B091B37LRR?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

It's flexible like shown in the picture where it is rolled up. I had some other stuff from Amazon that was too stiff and threw it away.
So far I found three different ID's that should cover most jobs.
