I feel like I hear more negative shit about Royal Purple than anything else to trust it

when I was a kid, purple used to be my favorite color to wear until someone in 4th grade told me I looked like Grimace

 

Royal Purple is almost cute enough but imagine a women oriented pink oil brand

 

I'd consider buying it for the lulz.

But I wouldn't buy it because 1) I don't want to encourage that behavior and 2) it would probably cost 20% more than any other oil.

I mean I'm assuming it would work as well as any other oil

 

I mean, most of it is manufactured by the same place, Warren, and rebranded for the parts stores, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, Costco etc

There might be slight differences in additive packages but I'm confident in claiming most 5W30 off the shelf is comparable to another and good enough for most doing standard oil change intervals

 

And assuming they actually put the proceeds somewhere useful and don't just use the pink as a marketing gimmick.
