Sorry to hear, that sucks. At least it sounds like not much suffering.

I went ahead and ordered a rope shackle and the adjustment tool. Should be here tomorrow. I’m going to end up lowering the front just a little more. There is some strange bounce back or something if I hit speed bump/humps head on and going around 30… I know I’m not supposed to go that fast over them but it’s for scientific purposes… :anonymous:

Yea, we weren’t 100% sure what was wrong with her besides being diagnosed with diabetes. The vet though when she went that way she was unable to cope/recover even with the insulin.

Cool man let us know how that works. I just ordered DRT CMR's and skids. I plan on doing all the cutting and trimming this summer. I'm gonna lower mine a bit too as soon as my spanner wrench set gets here. I'll probably rub the cab mount with any flex but going to try and avoid it until the CMR is done. Hopefully when the 34s go on I don't have to do fender trimming, but I also plan on getting DRT spindles and removing the extended flares I currently have on. I already have all the replacement clips and adhesive - but no need to do it until the tires go on. One more winter with the wildpeaks. Going to add some PSI today to the fronts as see if that solves the squishy look or if it was just due to being cold. Seeing if I can find that middle ground between squishy tires and stiff ride :D

Unfortunately, I notice a lot of "creeking" going on, especially when it's cold. I don't like these sounds, but they are probably normal. Mostly over the shitty entrance ways to shops in my small town with potholes bigger than my entire truck...

that sounds like a great plan, you’re truck is gonna look great. Are you going to hammer the pinch weld too?
I can’t say I hear any creaking but I keep Woolwax on things that might, like the leafs. Not that I’ve ever been to Montana I’m sure maryland does not get anywhere near as cold. And usually when it’s single digits or in the teens I don’t tend to go anywhere.
I’m not too concerned how much lift I end up with (but under 2” is lowest I’d go) as long as I’m happy with the ride and can fit the tires.

    Thanks!!!

Yes they are E rated. They were stiff at 36 psi on the stock OR suspension so I suspect they will be worse with the Ironman Stage 2 but as I said, can't be much worse then a jeep lol.
I already have a heavy steel rear bumper on and will add a topper soon as well, I'm done vacuuming out Husky hair every day hahahaha. When we go to camp we always have at least a couple hundred pounds of added gear but that's only on weekends.

I installed my stage 2 kit today.

I put the rear shocks on the wrong side so the stickers face inboard. Oops.

took me all day, only one trip to harbor freight to get a bigger set of channel locks to bend the pinch weld and a pry bar.

i ran out of swear words on the rear leafs but they eventually went in.

alignment in the morning and the. I just need to add the driveshaft spacer thing. It also came with sway bar spacers but it said “hilux”.

I took before measurements from ground the fender flares and will do it again tomorrow. I should probably get an ECGS bearing on order

IIRC some people who put them on sticker out actually had some slight rubbing issues.

Great to hear! The spacers should still work. I think someone posted about installing them here somewhere.
How’’d the pinch weld bending go?
    Where’s the pictures?!
The stickers do face inward for some odd issue.

Nope, now I’m confused lol. I meant the rear shocks. The stickers on those face inward.
The spacers I don’t remember. I would guess they are probably the same as the Hilux. But I could also be 100% wrong.

Yea that's what I was referring to. Cuz they mentioned the spacers being labeled Hilux and they already fixed the shocks. I'd assume the Hilux stuff is the same, but then again, shit happens and wrong stuff has been sent out before :burp:

    Lol.

If it's anything like Ikea furniture, you unbox, try to assemble first, curse a lot, then fish out the instructions from the excess packaging you discarded 8 hours ago when you started the 1 hour job. Disassemble your backwards mess and then break a cheap piece that was crucial in construction. The next day is spent on the phone complaining about a "missing part" and how quality control has just gone down the drain in recent years.

    what instruction booklet?

I didn’t take any pictures because I was dead set in getting it installed. I’ll get pics later after the alignment.

I did have an issue with the parking brake cable not bolting back up to the leafs.

I probably should also get longer soft brake lines for everything now
