Welded that last one twice, and 3/16 is probably too big for this welder

I can't even begin to describe the nasty ass shit I had to weld last Thursday...

 

I do, but you don't want it. Its so old I can't even find a manual for it... Jensen 500W 4 channel though and pretty sure its a Class AB

Yeah I cleaned the welds themselves first. This thing is kind of an experiment anyway. Whoever welded it the first time was…. Well, I dunno. Gf is doing welding school and knows all the right words now, gonna keep me on my toes

Grrr, I'd rather stick weld than use a MIG welder limited to 120V.

 

I have a perpetual cough from grinding the rust off my 14 bolt with a gator mask. Went and got a respirator and been feeling better but I think I did damage to the lungs.

 

I have my own miller that @Kwikvette wants to steal from me

Whoever welded that was long arcing like a mother, had no gas, or was doing this shit outside in the wind...or all of the above

Yeah I've got a respirator I'll use from time to time. Really I should use it all the time, but I don't.

For TIG, most I wear are my TIG gloves and hood. Was chilly so I kept my hoodie on while welding today

I can't get a mig on 120 to do shit. It always sucks. I just add a new 50 amp circuit.

I just hate respiration cause they always fog up your vision. When it comes to welding, im not the best welder anyway. I need to see perfect or I track off joint.
