I'd say cheapest pedals with 8 - 10 pins, while also having some concaveness is where you get performance benefits. Then after that you're paying for the companies time investing in machining material down without reducing durability too much.

    GO STEELERS!!!

I am heading up over my spring break here in a few weeks. I hope it doesn't coincide with Cleveo City's break

It is about the same drive from C-bus as well...2ish hours.

I bought that seat for my son (Thule Yepp mini Nexxt), at 13 months... he loved it!! Once I rode my bike with him in my arms, I knew he was hooked. No way was I gonna strap him to a rear seat, or pull along carriage. As a matter of fact, he still rides on that seat. He's approaching the weight limit of 33 lb, so the Shotgun/ Mcride is next... thought my wife is terrified of him being in it.(She's not a biker)

Just be aware, the Thule nexxt seat is not MTB friendly, it's really best for a cruiser bike Geo. I purchased a specialized roll with this in mind. It worked out great.

As long as it's good size and has a decent pin layout I'm g2g. My chewed bubblegum bmx shins think quality shoes make way more of a difference so spend the $$$ there.

That thing looks like a freaking rocket ship.

Even though I know weight isn't important in mountain biking anymore ( ), I gotta know.... What's it weigh?

Per this article, I was under the impression it would fit just fine...? https://enduro-mtb.com/en/thule-yepp-nexxt-mini-childs-seat-review/

Also, totally agree on having your kid between your arms! It's gotta be so much more fun for them to be out front instead of staring at your butt/back. My older daughter now stands on the pegs of her shotgun seat the whole time we're descending.

I wrote friendly, meaning possible, depending on frame, and not the easiest to ride with. I mocked it up on my Rockhopper, size Large, but it didnt have enough space in the steerer, even still, the leaned in riding position made it a bit unformfortable. With child, I would assume it'd get worse with helmet.
Your result may very, so I dont mean to discourage anyone. It's a great seat, he loves going out for rides.

Gotcha! I took it as... "it's not compatible." Good to know though!

Some of this is true with the shotgun as well (and I assume Macride). It's just a bit awkward to ride a bike with a tiny human between your arms. I personally prefer to ride with my older daughter on my commuter and my hardtail, which are both more upright riding positions. I've definitely taken a helmet to the chin a few times though.

Having a "turning 30" crisis, and I'm fully aware. There's about to be a whole new level of N+1 at my house.

At least you didn’t skimp on the brain bucket. I had the street bikes in high school and fresh out. Now only street bikes I’m interested in are supermoto/dual sports like KTM EXC500s and KTM Dukes/naked bikes.

Yeah, got the money set aside for a 390 Duke once I wrap up MSF and the written next weekend. Wanted a duke since the first time I saw one and decided that "someday" was a lame thing to keep telling myself.

I used to really enjoy road riding. Most any naked bike still tickles my fancy.

There are just too many distracted and careless morons out there nowadays. Same reason I have zero interest in road riding bicycles.

If a tree/rock in the woods kills or injures me on a two wheel toy at least it’s my fault.

Yeah, I get that N+1 thing. I have 3 bicycle helmets and 4 motorcycle helmets. Only 2 bikes of each kind though.

I run the Diety black kats and love them. I’ve had cb stamps but something these just feel better. Could be the width.

Recently I've been riding a FZ07 naked street bike. But I would love to ride a true street bike - from my understanding the power difference is unreal but I don't understand how, since many street bikes are only 650s

That's exciting. I've been riding one of these the past month or so, commute gamechanger

And the best part? Whenever they get clapped you can sent them back for a rebuild for like $25
