Is the WCP a special run or something? West coast verses east coast. Here on east coast there is no info on it. Thanks

 

It’s just a very uncommon color. It’s sold all around North America and Hawaii

 

When mine was allocated, they thought it was just 040 Super White. My sales rep didn't know WCP was available on the Taco. I didn't see it when I was using the build tool before I made the deposit. Was a surprise to myself, and the sales staff. Was told they found out it's only available on the Sport and Limited trims.

 

Mine came from a dealership in KY who traded it with a dealer in TN.

 

I have seen WCP for sale on the east coast. Started out looking for voodoo blue, after I saw WCP pics, added it to the color choices. I was looking in GA, TN, KY, OH, so it was one of those states.
Bought with TEMNA form.

 

Just found out myself.

 

Was seriously considering a Heritage grill.. even planned on painting parts to match. Then I just looked at it.. said "naahhhh.. looks mint as is.

It's the little badge. I swear. Just kind of makes it.

 

Cant wait for mine to arrive, ill be installing it on the heritage grill so ill update with photo's when its on next week!

 

I was getting impatient looking for a Lunar Rock 7566, so I called to add WCP as my backup color (even though I knew it would be more unlikely to find that over LR). He told me it wasn't an option. Later in the day he called and told me it took him 4 different conversations with coworkers to find out that it was an option, he'd just never seen one at his dealership. Crazy rare considering I'm buying from Longo, which is the biggest volume dealer in the country.

 

In all honesty, it is an odd choice for a truck with such off road credentials as a Tacoma. With this being said, the Sport and Limited are technically "street" trims.

I will say, I am very pleased with what I ended up with. I get lots of compliments on it in a sea of white, black, gunmetal and Shiney primer vehicles.

 

I was devastated to hear cement was discontinued, but now I'm kind of glad.

I'm actually really looking forward to Lunar Rock now. Its like a primer with a shade of green mixed in.

No doubt the WCP looks awesome though, and I'd go as far as to say probably more rare than ELG.

 

Oh man, I do like the LR. And AG.

I started reading through the ELG thread.. probably should see how many different tacos are actually pictured. Skip over the banter.. I think in this thread we are up to 8 or 9.
