1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Im in NJ. I have bought 2 1st gens up here and ill never do it again. The fly and drive back is so worth it. GA trucks are always nice. Have clay all over them but that can be pressure washed off.

 

My NA TSX could get up and go. But still needed premium gas or else it would ping. Id like to get a newer TLX one day if I ever have disposable income.

lol bro-in-law calls me up freaked out because his Honda Accord (2018) wont start and the instrument display looks like a Christmas Tree. Told him to have AAA try to jump it and if that doesn't do it, tow it to me. Told him he most likely needed to replace the battery. Should've seen this thing freak out with the blinking displays, clicking noises and bell sounds going off.

I kinda wanted to build a 2nd gen cause I love that 4.0 but you can't even check the damn tranny fluid. I mean, I could have prob swapped the housing to a dipstick setup but wtf. Mercedes haven't had oil dipsticks since the early 2000's. Craziness. 1st gen is basic AF and that's why I love them. BTW, good luck finding flat ground in North NJ to let the computer read the fluid level on a newer toyota.
