I've thought about making something simple and subtle like this on the vinyl cutter at work.
Something maybe not everyone on the road will know what they're looking at, but those who do will appreciate it?

Cool decal, if you make them I'd need to put it upside-down on my current car as my reverse is to the right and down.

 

Hey guys what does a burnt clutch smell like? Asking for a friend.












Please don't say "bad" or "like burnt brakes" because those mean nothing to me.

What I smelled was a bit of a mix of mildew, burnt hair, and literal garbage.

Of course "if you have to ask..." but Portland is filled with piles of (sometimes literal) homeless people's shit, and this parking lot was no exception, so it very well could've been something nasty wafting over.

I had the wheels butted up against a curb and was slowly climbing it in 1st to check how the torque felt. I rode the clutch quite a bit and stalled out a few times getting a feeling for it, but RPMs stayed at sane levels (hence the stalling.)

 

You did that, you smelt it, you dealt it


I think you know what it smells like now, without our describing it


You won't forget it now...sense of smell is like that

 

What kind of aftermarket shift knobs are you guys using? Was looking at gettagrip but would rather make my own. Anyone know the thread size that the OEM lever screws into?

man those are some dope pedals. I tip my hat! I honestly couldn’t find very many people selling manual sticker options. I’m still searching for something that I really love, I got these because they were available. Seller 10/10 though.

 

While we're talking about decals, I recently saw a mid-2000s Mustang with a window decal which had the image of a stick shift and a caption which said, "Millennial Anti-Theft Device". Sure wish I got a picture of that one.

I really like this one. It's subtle without being smug. I also like the simple 3 pedals sticker. I'm thinking about doing one of these too. Only issue with this sticker is you will be asked a million times "what does that sticker stand for?"

Well you guys were right, it's definitely growing on me already. It's like a lighthouse in a sea of black. Still gotta test drive but so far so good.

 

I need both of these.

 

I also added a TRD shift knob. Love how the color matches the rest of the interior. Way better than the OG one.
