Wasn't disposable, just lived poorer than before and ate more ramen and drank cheaper beer.

Well I was supposed to buy a house at the time but used the down to buy It instead :anonymous:
Got a house the following year so no harm. Still was under 3k but the most expensive shitbox to date.

Shoot me an offer, I might take it.

I put the bumpers and fenders back on it and I had a moment where I’m sorta iffy on selling it haha

The daily's been sitting outside in single-digit/teen temps for a few days. Drove it to get some groceries, figured I'd top off the tank while I'm there.

    The filler door froze shut.

It's one of those that has a remote release from the inside so there's nothing to pull on outside.

Fortunately I already knew how to manually open the door through the trunk, since the remotes are a common point of failure on seventh gen Civics. It was a fun fuel stop 100 miles from home when I figured that out the first time, though.

I put $75 in the 100's tank tonight. Almost 20 gallons. Won't be long before it takes a "smiling face" to fill it.

If the entire LT manages to scrounge up parts, we can help Tyler make a whole airplane

Well when you have a vehicle as sublime as a 2005 Honda Civic EX 5MT, sometimes you go a little out of your way.

But no, it was many moons ago when I first learned that trick while driving to visit my parents.

Shortly after I joined TW there was some talk of rewiring a 480v airliner coffee maker to run on household 120v. Whatever happened to that?

Im trying to sell a truck that I replaced all the damn ground straps on and battery cables on right after I got the new windshield(didnt want to get the inspection sticker on old glass). Super big mistake. Ive been to the dvm 8 times in a week and a half. Not ready, not ready, not ready!! 400 miles of premium $4.20 a gallon gas and its still not ready and i have a buyer who I can't sell truck to.
