Anyone in the Austin area interested in some Clazzio rear seat only covers for a double cab 2nd gen in gray? Ordered the access cab and they sent me everything. I have them on sale on Clist but willing to give them to someone here for free.

Ive used Jose Flores collision (wells branch area) in the past for some repair work. When I was shopping around for a shell he said he would charge about 600 to repaint the shell. I emailed him pictures and he quoted it.

    STOLEN - 2/23/22 - 93 Toyota Xtra-Cab Pickup

Hi, new to the forum and not sure where I should post this as I'm a bit beside myself. My '93 Toyota Xtra-cab pickup was stolen overnight/early morning today, Wednesday Feb 23, in the Northwood neighborhood of Austin. Off Parmer and Mopac area. I'm just hoping that it stays in the area and that it will be seen/found by police or someone will try and sell it around here. If anyone has a suggestion for other places I might post, please let me know. I had inadvertently left it unlocked on Sunday evening and they found a garage door opener in it and got in the garage and found a spare key I had on a shelf by the kitchen door. I did not notice that the garage had anything missing on Monday but thought I had just left the door up. However they came back for the truck. Just can't believe how bold. I'm the original owner and the truck means a ton to me. So I appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks,
    Russell in Austin.

That hurts my heart, best of luck! Try and get it on all the Toyota Facebook groups in the area. I’ll post it on the San Antonio Tundra group for you.

Could anyone please recommend a tire shop that does a good job mounting tires sensors and balancing them? And most importantly not getting the wheels scratched?

The place I used to go all the techs there quit and left, and now the new hires don't even practice precaution when dealing with expensive wheels and sharp tools.

I've had great luck with Discount Tire in Leander. They've done a number of tires/wheels for me (mostly street cars) but also for my Taco, Jeep and my wife's Mazda CX-5.

Looks good, 4.6 stars on Google is pretty hard to achieve for a big brand franchise, I'll make the drive from Austin for my future tire related work, thanks for recommending

    UPDATE - Sighting! - STOLEN - 2/23/22 - 93 Toyota Xtra-Cab Pickup

Just an update on my truck mentioned above. It was seen at the intersection of Research Blvd & Burnet Rd. 8:40am - 2/24, Thursday. So it's out there and being driven around!

Keep an eye out for the gray truck with the black rims and white swoosh decal! Call 911 if spotted. Hopefully it'll stay in the area!

TX Plate : GWW- 2637 I've made posts on FB and Reddit as well so finger's crossed.

    Thanks for any help!

    Same here.
I live in Pflugerville and there's a DT 2 miles away from me but I still drive 15 miles each way to Leander Discount Tire. I've known the manager there James Fillah. Great guy and he has a great crew. He gives me extra discount too :spending:

Tell him Paul with the tacoma/ BBQ guy from Pflugerville sent you. Might get an extra discount for mentioning my name:D

I would spend the day putting around Wooten/North Shoal creek if you have the time. When I was looking for a house, there were some sketchy mfer’s living around there and I checked the crime reports before we started seriously considering. Lots of car thefts around there.

    Also stay strapped
