Thanks for the reply and info! Much appreciated! It may make more sense to get the bumper first after all. TBD still figuring it out. Appreciate all the advice and help

I replaced bushings, dropped to 4/5 setting and switched out for 650# springs today on my 6112’s. I could hear the lower shock mounts hitting the LCAs as I went over bumps which was very annoying. Bushing were shot after about 12k miles and I was just dealing with it. It wasn’t hard with the right tools and I assume I’ll be replacing bushings once a year until I can afford Fox. The truck drives way better now though. I’ve got a front bumper and winch that weigh about 220# and the 650# springs feel really good with no sway bar.

You might try to find some polyurethane ones would probably last you longer, also seen in a Miata forum a how to mold your own polyurethane bushings you might be able to find.

I looked around for some but couldn’t find anything. Shoot me a link for the do it yourself kit if you got it. Thanks.

Pretty sure this is it, it shows I've watched at least half of it in my YouTube history.

I think I saw something like this when I was looking for bushings. I’ll stick with swapping them for $30 and a few hours of work.

What bump stops did you upgrade to? I have the same setup and never thought to replace the bump stops. Been running this setup for a couple years now.

Figured I would ask in here if anyone knows if there’s any suppliers that have some 6112’s in stock? That or if anyone has a used set that they would want to sell?

If they are just on back order everywhere has anyone got an estimated ship date?

    Thanks guys.

Headstrong Offroad still had a few in stock as of late last week. Website still shows in stock also. I've heard local quotes of up to 24-weeks for next 6112 shipments.

Just got back from alignment. Between that, the fresh bushings and the 650# springs, this truck is riding REALLY nice for how much money I have the front suspension. I still want Fox’s down the road though.

Do the 6112 coil overs come standard with 600 lb springs?

And could someone point me to posts describing the lift at each clip setting for 2nd gen?

650 coils are used when added weight. Stock weight 600LB coils will be fine. 650lb coils add 1/2” of lift to compensate for weight. My 2 cents

I have to assume the ride quality would suffer, using the 650 pound coils with only stock weight. Similar to stiffer leaf springs for rear weight.

Yes with no added weight will ride stiff.
