@01x4 100 series prices are coming back to earth. I think this one has less than 190,000 miles. Two weeks ago it would have been listed for $18,000.

Seems like the smart play, the market for people who have the patience to put something like that is pretty small

 

Any guesses at how cleanly a set of 3rd gen 4runner sliders would match up to a standard cab frame?

There's a set of 4xInnovations DOM sliders w/square main tube for sale locally for $250. Not that I need sliders for anything, but they're cheap enough...

 

That was not the response that I expected.

 

When you are in the company of the LT thread you don't need any reason to buy something other than it was cheap. Shelve it for later. I got a garage full of don't need it but better keep it just in case. That was the whole reason I got my Landcruiser.

 

I literally have a Craigslist search saved called “cheap manual cars”. Nothing yet, but someday…

 

What happened to all the anti-theft manuals? I'm willing to get an auto and convert it if it's a common car that frequents the local PnP.

 

Seems to be quite a few over here, just nothing I want to fix. That 2006 Mini Cooper with a salvage title though …. Mmm mmmmmmm

 

I've looked at getting a blown motor Mini as they are dirt cheap. They just don't make K-swaps for them like they do with the Morris Mini otherwise I would have jumped on them already.
