Market adjustment will only work if we the market players allow them. Folks need to remember, pre COVID invoice pricing was the goal/norm. The acceptable market adjustment if from invoice to MSRP.

I have been getting a number of Toyota parts from Lou at prestige Toyota of Kingston:

    ldolcemascolo@prestigeofkingston.com

Lou is a good guy and very helpful. Most stuff has free shipping.

    Good luck.

I saw a RAV4 with a $40K market adjustment a few weeks ago in So Cal. Nearly $90K for it. lol

I believe it! There was a window sticker pic floating around for a RAV4 Hybrid Prime with a $49k MSRP plus a $40k adjustment from a dealer in Oakland, supposedly.

I just wonder if someone actually paid that?!

Come on by! Yeah I was super lucky - I did the same thing with the Taco and Supra and it was right before the supply dried up. Within weeks. Just dumb luck on my part, but sometimes it pays to be dumb.

$10k supra markup is the norm at my local stealerships. Still cheaper than that RAV4 though.

There was a 22 Supra in the showroom next to the RAV I bought. It was $57k msrp plus a 5k or 10k adjustment but as part of the Presidents Day Sale, they were canceling the adjustment and going straight msrp. I saw no one hovering over it and it's still there. The RAV's that were on the lot have already thinned to a couple.

Yeah, the dealership I do business with had a couple that sat on the lot for a while. From what I was told, they like to keep one around because it brings people into the dealership and is something they can put by the road/in the middle of the showroom floor to make the dealership seem fancy... like a high end Toyota... I know there's a name for it... starts with an L...
