It's not bad. I mean once you put them in they pretty much stay there. I've had my Victory one for almost 3 years and had no issue.

One thing I did notice, and might be a personal issue. I don't have too much on the driver side, just some small things. Having too much or large stuff rubs my leg and bugs me. Most of my stuff is on the passenger.

I was never above 265 until I disconnected the battery for the speaker swap. Now I get 385. Think it reset or something since it was like that from new and this was the first time having the battery disconnected. I always wondered why it would would only take about 11 or 12 gallons to fill up when I was down to 1/4 tank.

I have had the SochieTech installed for nearly 3 years now and have not observed any weakness of the mounting location occurring in that area.

I was surprised to find that my tailgate is damped so it doesn't slam down like my friend's F150 gate does. Ridiculous luxury. I think my Taco has a bit too many systems and parts from the factory. These days I think a lot about what I'd like to remove.

To me, a pickup truck is more about "simplify and add lightness" than "how much stuff can I bolt onto my truck?"

Only thing I’ll be bolting on are my new wheels next week and a new RCI front skid plate. The transmission, front differential and gas tank skids will come later. Sliders and HC bumpers eventually as well. All will be used as intended. I think everything else that is on the truck (other than the speakers; which I already swapped) is good enough from the factory.

I like that feature on my 2017 TRD OR.
When I had my 1987 pickup (pre-Taco) 4x4 SC I removed the steering damper to install a larger one and re-purposed it to my tailgate to create that dampening effect. Then had a graphic artist paint " Can't Slam This" on the back of the tailgate.

    Oh look, another mod....
Shit, I can easily get 385miles out of a tank without even trying. The struggle for me is: Pushing it past the 427 mark. I filled up yesterday, and my trip odo' read: 398miles, the DTE read: 36miles. I know the DTE would have dropped a bit more...

I find they (WT) are hard to SCRUB clean. I've taken the bristle brush to get some dis-colorization stains off...a couple of times...waiting for the material to dry and still see an offset color/not like the original color.

I do like the coverage on them...and they aren't slippery...it's just that off-white/dis-colorization that's annoying. But who looks at the matts anyways? They do protect the carpet underneath!

I'm looking at the "Husky" floormats...lots of different styles!

I’ve had both and I prefer the husky weather beaters. Didn’t like the WT ones.

I have a question for you about your mount. I have one of the original Course MotorSports magnetic mounts without power and am about to upgrade - where did you get the power for yours? Cigarette lighter? USB plug?
