Same reason I went from weather tech to husky. On a long drive there was no cushion feeling and made it uncomfortable.

Fun bolt together project from Martin Offroad. As soon as the temps get over 20⁰ I'll mount it up.

    A bunch of junk

I use my fridge, grill, propane tank, water tank, and awning several times a week.

But I get it, you're old and want us to know how much you dislike our stuff lol

What the world needs now is more people like @oostroma . Self-fabricobbled functional improvements are super cool.

To me, the tailgate dampers are worth the weight because I use them every day. High pressure gas struts to lift the hood, not so much...

I don't know about you, but I'd gladly apply the same principal to a Tacoma. There's easily 150lbs that could be shaved off the front half of the truck. When I come back from OCONUS I'm seriously considering doing a full CF front clip just for fun.

IMO it depends on the version. I want to get the rivet-on version that sets the bottom of the strut closer to the firewall rather than the bolt-on version most get that just puts the strut in the way of accessing anything over the fenders. The extra opening height is a BS gimmick, but not having a hood strut in the way would be lovely.

My victory panels came with the spacers as well. 1/4-3/8 gap between the panel and console after mounting

those are also victory 4x4 side rails. They use brackets that utilize the bed rail screws but retain access to the rails. They also have a cutout for the bed light (not pictured)

My tailgate latch broke, and I have a hard tonneau cover that was locked. Forum said coat hanger wouldn’t work. Mine did. Was Able to unlock cover latch.
