I've debated for about a year on getting a Toyota truck - after seeing how the new Tundra is built, I took action and am buying one of the last model year 3.5 V6 Tacomas. I just don't need a Tundra since I don't have a bunch of passengers or plan on towing anything. I'm trying to get in now before the Tacoma goes to a blown 4 and have to potentially deal with the same issues the Tundra is now.

I've been wanting a truck for about 3 years but wanted to pay off my current ride first. I think the current gen Tacoma is the best looking truck you can buy, but that may only be for another year or two so I decided to jump on one before they ruin it. I don't like or need the Tundra, it's just too big and ugly. I really hope the 4th gen Tacoma doesn't have a massive front grill like the Tundra has. That thing looks terrible.

My Friend and an old family member work there. That was my first stop to try and get the truck I wanted. They wanted a deposit but assured me they could get in in 8 weeks. I didn't wanna do a deposit so I went to Denton Toyota and requested allocation. Got tired of waiting so started searching entire country. I paid over MSRP but I really needed a truck ASAP so can't complain. Who was your salesmen?

Paul Denman. So far he has done everything he said he could do. I will hopefully meet him in a couple of weeks when I pick up my truck. Just waiting to setup my trip home once the date becomes somewhat finalized. I would hate for the date to slip and extend past the date I have to leave again. I will only be in town about 2.5 weeks so not much wiggle room.

    None yet.....
I would actually like a TRD Off-Sport. Rear locker, Off-Road wheels, body-color fender flares and bumper, no hood scoop. Perfect!

Damnit, ice storm apparently messed up my delivery date, going to have to wait at least another day.

So after 4+ delays from my dealer, I found another taco with the same exact specs as the one I was waiting for, same color, same everything. Called that dealer and they said no one had purchased it yet. While they were getting my info down and I was getting ready to get out the door to go get it...someone apparently walked into to the dealer and got it on the spot.
