I’m currently thinking about Airaid at $450. Or, Uptop for $1000. I don’t want to tunnel it to the cab.

Want it for the looks and better quality air (less dust). Don’t plan on doing much water fording.

    Any recommendations?

I went with airaid. Also have a buddy who makes adapters for the syklone pre-filter.

Most snorkels you can flip backwards to prevent dust. I'd probably drive around with it backwards 99% of the time. But I cannot stand the intake noise when the windows are open.

ARB safari is probably my first choice for snorkel.

Think the ARB looks horrible So that’s off the table.
Didn’t realize snorkels make a lot of noise

I use one because I don't have to worry with rain.

i know of them. Not sure why they would be any better. I like the uptop bec u can remove the side plate and clean it out. But not sure that’s worth 550$ more than an Airaid

    Looks awesome man!

    are you selling the adapters?

So far the air aide is the one I’m getting. Just curious of how much water really comes in the snorkle w rain. And will it do any harm or just sit at the bottom of the snorkel?

Even if water gets to the air filter box. It’s just going to sit at the bottom of the box until it drys out…no?

I'll PM you the contact info for the guy that makes them. I paid for the R and D lol
I am unsure how much water would need to be an issue but I didn't want to find out. A moist air filter would clog pretty quickly too. Probably mold as well

I am sorry I never saw this message.
I have not had any issues with the snorkel on my end. Makes cool noises too.

I don’t know about the Airaid, there’s a stipulation that for the snorkel to work at optimal efficiency this song has to be played at full volume, with windows down and on repeat. :notsure:
