    Stuff. Also things.

Yeah, we use it for shit that we REALLY don’t want to move.

    Ever.

I’m honestly kind of shocked that the seal vacated the housing like that. Mine required more than a little persuasion to install.

I haven’t tried yet tbh, was focused on cleaning it all and strategizing my plan to make sure the bearing can be saved.

yeah same here. So much so that when I finished for the night I instinctively put the new seal in the freezer to make install easier when I go back at it sunday. so I am doubtful it was loosey goosey in there. :notsure:

Tried to clean up the battery terminals, not thrilled with the negative, will work on that later.

Okay, I’ve been having problem with my passenger tail light, doesn’t work when plugged into the passenger side, does when plugged into the drivers side. @unstpible had to change some wiring on his taillights to get the 95-00 light to work on his 01-04. So I tried to copy what he did as seen below, but still not luck. Any ideas?

When I was repairing my tail light harness, I found that the driver side tail light had a jumper on the running light circuit on the tail light side of the connector. Running light power wouldn’t get from the driver to the passenger side or the license plate lights without the driver side light plugged in.

It doesn’t work either way, my battery’s dead now from leaving the lights on while messing with it so I guess I’m done for the day hah.

also said screw it and ordered new factory style lights

Might be worth taking the harness loose, getting the ends together and pinning everything out with a multimeter if the new tail lights don’t fix it. It took me a solid hour with a multimeter to figure out what the hell was going on after I plugged in my passenger side light and had nothing.

Idiotic question,if I want the caster all the way forward and the camber to be flat (the truck is lifted so keep this in mind), which way do the driver side tabs need to be facing?

I start with the front bolt in and the rear bolt out then dial camber in from there.

Found a nice surprise underneath the floor mat today. Standing water and a soaked carpet. Cut it out to dry it and bringing it to the dealer to get the seals all replaced. Always something

What size wrench to remove outer tie rods? 22mm isn't big enough. Not talking about the castle nut, but the other nut that you loosen to spin off the tie rod

Should be 22mm if you have the OEM nut on there. I find that I often end up with two adjustable wrenches on that joint though. Or, to @Area51Runner's suggestion - an adjustable wrench on the nut and a pipe wrench on the shaft of the OTRE in order to hold it steady.
