    The L400 was available with a 5-speed manual transmission in some markets, and even 6-speed manual on Chinese models, but all of the ones DelicaUSA has in stock have automatic transmissions; I can drive a stick shift, but I have never driven one in a city and I'm glad I didn't have to deal with that this time around...

    This is the 1996 L300 that I drove; This one has 2.5L turbodiesel engine, which was not fast but seemed to have better acceleration than the 3.0L V6 in the L400...

    I prefer the L300 based on looks alone!
