I don't know yet, I would like to use the @MESO Fan Mounts, but I don't think they are available according to his website. And I don't know if there are any other available options.... So, just a bunch of zipties I guess :notsure:

You decide on which hose you’re taping into?

I'm tapped in the upper and Imma be switching it whenever work gives me a damn break. The fan basically runs at 60-70% the whole time with it tapped into the upper. Which doesn't really make sense imo. I want the fan to react to the temp of the rad, not the engine, I feel like on the output, it's almost always close to operating temp and this, running at a higher %. Imma run mine on the bottom and just have the bypass tapped to the ECU that puts the fan @ 100% to pull air through the condenser with the AC clutch on so the AC works well even with lower fan speeds.

Now that I'm thinking of it, I should just make a bung and weld it to whatever rad I decide to go with. Intereeeeesting.

The Mishimoto Radiator will finally be installed on Friday, hopefully no surprises..

Just got done trimming to the absolute appropriate size so there isn't any excess tail sticking past the adjusting nut. And added some heat shrink tubing to the Mishimoto supplied hose clamps..

    The Mishimoto Radiator getting installed..

Stock radiator removed, not too hard to do..
    20220304_094559.jpg

    Some comparisons..

Fan Shroud fits nicely!! I was a little worried about potential fitment issues. This always seems to be the case with aftermarket aluminum radiators with my experiences over the years. Not the case the Mushimoto Radiator..
    20220304_095007.jpg

The Mishimoto Silicone Hose's match well too. The new Lower Hose is about an inch longer than the stock hose, not expected to be an issue..
    20220304_094519.jpg

And that's all I have right now. I came in on my day off to do this install, but I have a special request to look at a work order that is currently being written up. Updates throughout the day...

How about a zip tie as a temporary gauge pod mount until the actual one arrives..

2nd Gen. Side Pillar Gauge Pod Mount from Lo-Tex. Will house a coolant temperature gauge, and a transmission temperature gauge. Gauges are the Auto Meter Spek-Pro series. The gauges have programmable settings that will change the color of the face of the gauge when high/low temp are read. The transmission temp. gauge will also be used to control a transmission cooler fan relay, one of the cool features of the Spek-Pro gauges. Unfortunately the transmission temperature guage is back ordered nation wide

Color match isn't exact, but close enough..

Decent fit, I think I can make it better with a little trimming on the bottom..

So I'm digging around the shipping box that the Mishimoto Radiator came in looking for somee foam seals for the fan shroud that supposedly comes with the radiator. Didn't find the foam seals, but I found this packet on the bottom of the protective shipping material..

The Mishimoto Penguin Air Freshener lol..

Someone gave me a bunch of things including a shirt, stickers, and possibly a patch. Im still rocking their front bumper, and the 6 year old powdercoat has held up damn well, especially for east coast winters
