Question for the experts. My 2020 Tacoma Pro was broken into last night. PoS shattered my rear passenger window. Need to get it replaced, but my understanding is the Pros came with privacy glass in the rear, so want to make sure I get the correct type of glass replacement. Is this true, or is it some other specific/special type of glass. And if so, Is this something I should get the dealer to do, or any other suggestions.
    Thanks

Look on the unbroken side. At the bottom of the window will be a tint code. Typically an FM-### or something similar. As long as the new glass has the same tint code then you are fine.

No I am filing a claim. I just want to make sure whoever does the work replaces it with the same glass. I think I’m just being very protective of my baby

Same glass in all Tacoma models that have rear privacy glass. Nothing special for Pro Model.

Once the glass is replaced do you plan to add any window cages or any other type of reinforcing to prevent somone from being able break your windows?

Are we talking rear passenger door or the rear window on the passenger side? Funny someone would go for the smaller rear. Guess they are stepping up their game.

I believe look for AS-3 on the glass. That is the privacy tint glass.

Items in the back aren’t all that visible. You really have to look to see anything. Damn fucknuts.

I must be bipolar. Steal from me and I will go crazy as all get out. Ask me for help- I’ll reply back with a question- how much you need? I’ll throw a hug in too.

I have seen in the past parts that were merely unavailable be marked as discontinued.

That is the NAGS part # for the Driver Side Rear. You need: FD26754YPY. If you want OEM you need Part Number: 6810304060 Supersession(s): 68103-04060.
    Part Number: FD26754
    Year Make Model Type
2016 - 2022 TOYOTA TACOMA PICKUP 4 DOOR CREW CAB

    https://parts.toyota.com/p/Toyota_2...or-Glass-Right--Rear/66818479/6810304060.html

Three of my vendors have the FD26754YPY in stock in the STL area. Call one of your local glass shops or the dealer. I'm sure they can get you taking care of.
These are super easy to do. Glass comes with attachments that bolt right to the regulator with 10mm bolts. About an hour tops for clean up and install if you take your time.
