22' Tacoma missing parts from factory

OP got a kick back from the Toyota USA, was told to never post again on TW. Undisclosed amount of cash, no check, Toyota looking into phony Moroney stickers on new vehicles, scared of class action suites.

 

this thread is funny. Love it for so many reasons.....

OP (a Karen, really) realized that the value of the misprinted sticker is only worth as much as what he was promised and not the wild dreams of a free truck and millions in compensation. Also realized that a class action is impossible by himself...

 

few weeks later and i got a response... the dealership ended up cutting me a check for $1,000.
also while going through my paper work I noticed i was over charged 2,600$ for a warranty i never purchased. upon further investigation we concluded they charged the money and never submit the warranty. When i asked for a copy of the contract they forged my signature on a contract however the contract was clearly forged and they ended up returning the $2,600 back to me as well.

I know of others that would cash in 5k worth of warranties and never submit them. thats Rhode Island for yah

It's good to hear a good outcome. Thanks OP for the update. That is why one should always have a clear head, sometimes we get distracted during the deal wanting the new truck.
