VFTuner master key not being sent

I ordered the VFtuner cable and software pack a couple days ago. The physical package arrived yesterday but I never got emailed a master key to unlock the software. I openned a support ticket today and got a response saying "all pending master keys will be emailed out today." I still haven't gotten any emails in junk or regular inbox. Is this normal? If, because I didn't get an email today, does that mean I need to ask for it again? Thanks.

 

The master keys are handled by an outside company, so you're at the mercy of their speed and not VF's.

You can always respond to the last response you've received if you have concerns.

Also, for future reference, you may want to post on the vF forums.

That was reg keys. Master keys are in house

be sure to check your spam folder. A lot seem to end up there.

 

Thanks for helping me out, this makes way more sense now. I knew someone on here would have more knowledge about VFs behind the scenes processes that could clue me in!

 

I emailed VF earlier tonight asking and Matt just replied saying that all of the emails would be out by this evening. I guess it's being done manually or something, anyway I'm just glad to know that they will be sent out. I assumed that after about 4 or 5 pm all bets would be off. So essentially, issue solved!

 

Just an update, still no email or key. I guess tonight just wasn’t the night.

I remember mine took about 4/5 days. So I wouldn’t sweat it. Mathew will send it out to you

If you bought a tune pack, you should request it after you update your ECU ID to the most up to date version.

If you didn't buy a tune pack, then you will have access to the stock file, which is located in the install directory for vF tuner.

Just know it's not vaporware, a scam, or something underhanded.
You'll get it, just be patient.
We've seen a few ppl lose their shit because they expected Amazon Prime kinda quickness.. all that did was make said ppl look silly.

My key also took about 10 days, but it did arrive. Matthew was very helpful throughout the whole process.

Same experience, even though mine came quicker, Matthew was definitely really helpful. Awesome guy and selling a great product!

 

These guys will never know how much more difficult and time consuming this process used to be.. totally worth it though

i ordered 9/5/17 and didn’t have my first tune applied until 11/27 lol so many more steps back in the day

 

I'll never forget refreshing the shit out of the inbox on release day, only to be passed over lol! Then try to get Mat's attention in the dev thread b4 getting drowned out in all the noise.
