How do you like those leaf springs? I have heard some have issues with squeaking or being noisy. How about you? Did they give you 2 inches of lift with the shell and tent on?

I love the springs. No noises or anything. I did read those issues as well but none for me. They are smooth with the added camper weight. Better than stock obviously. The lift is/was dead even with the front before the tent. I need to remeasure with the tent on.

265/75/16s, think I should go bigger? Only 1,400 miles on them…

I like the setup you have. 285's open up other issues like clearance and re gearing, but they do look cool and function well off road.

Evidently this slight lift and level accommodates 33s, but you think I’d still be opening up Pandora’s box?

The manual transmission would be a positive as you get taller gearing from the factory over the autos. Not sure about the clearance. You might have to do some sort of trimming or cab mount chop.

The front was lifted 1.3” on top of the pro lift (over OR, limited, etc). Is there a way to figure that out before putting the tires on? Went with this lift because I want to keep it as OEM as possible. Feel free to refer me somewhere.

Any chance you have a picture of it on the truck closed? Also, what rack are you using?

I'm happy to pay USD $160 since it's made in the USA and not China.

I did this recently too except spent majority of my time detailing the gas door/area and lube the hinges- yes kinda funny and why everything I do takes so long
there are 2 parts floating around this forum- 1 is the 2nd gen mounts but only the front/radiator, iirc will work for us (only sold in a kit normally but if you buy direct you can have them sell you piece by piece needed only) and the 2nd is actually a universal part. The universal part isn’t an exact fit and may need modification iirc. It’s better to get the 2nd gen specifically. Also there were some theories/reports that since these bushing are less forgiving than oem rubber it can stress the metal and make a crack worse (not sure if there were anyone that had no crack prior to change then developed a crack after though). Just something to consider
