I did some things!

Removed the V6 badge from the tailgate.
Mounted some Cali-Raised tie down brackets on the bottom front of the bed.
And lastly, finally got my correct TufSkinz Reflective Black TRD Emblem mounted on the skid plate. At first, they sent me a white one...

Don't really feel like taking pics. I will later when I get my lightbar moved and hidden behind the grille. I also got some white DD replacement lenses for the fogs. Switching from amber to white just for the hell of it. Gonna see how I like it. I also plan on removing the AVS Aeroskin II and replacing with a Bugflector II after I paint it matte black. ALSO... lol... having the tint redone because it's not dark enough. Dealer did the fronts and sun strip and I was trying to be modest and keep it similar to the factory tint on the rears. I am changing to 5% in the rears and 15% in the fronts. For how rarely I drive at night, and the amount of light I have on this truck, it won't be a problem. Then finally, a tune the first week of March. Since my 5.29's are going to take forever to get here, I'm just going to tune now then retune later.

 

So, does it have a soft rubber insert in the middle now?

Thanks for sharing this. I'm going to save some money this way. The more expensive one does look like a solid product, but I'd rather save some money.

 

Changed the shell out today with a ARE i picked up for 100 bucks on market place, boy it got alot of room

 

I’m using Prinsu racks front and rear. The ikamper clamps are super easy to install and work perfect with the prinsu. Still gotta do some final adjustments and move the front clamps to another bar but this is pretty much it.

Looks really good. I have a Leer cap on order and will go the same route as you with the Prinsu racks.

 

Since some inconsiderate person decided to back into my trucks bumper and leave the scene, I decided to upgrade my stock bumper with a Fab Fours rear bumper. This was my Saturday:

 

Installed rci transmission skid plate on the ground by myself. Things are a lot heavier when when it’s right on your chest.

 

That is solid!

Picked my truck up from the fab shop from getting its bumper built.
The first photos 2 are in-progress shots from my guy earlier today before it was finish welded.

No it won’t stay bare steel, finishing is on me and starts tomorrow so I can have it ready for next saturdays trail ride!

 

Yeah its tough but look at what your driving. A Japanese truck assembled in Mexico with thousands of parts from all over the world, the majority made China. How many of those parts do you think are made in the US? Very few I bet.

Look I agree! I'm all in on America first, buy American, hire American! I always support my local businesses and American owned companies as much as possible but with how this country has become so dependent on China its near impossible to get anything that is truly Made In The USA. I will continue to try and I don't mind spending a little more for it, but not $135 more.

 

I have the RCI front and transmission skid on the way. Supposed to be here this coming week. Super pumped to get rid of the tin plate up front!
