How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Also working with Longo. Paid $500 deposit to be on the waitlist for an allocation ( 2022 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4 DCSB in Lunar Rock with Tech package) on on 11Feb2022. Sales guy emailed me back 26Feb2022 with an expected production date of 10Mar2022.

 

Picked up my Sport 4x4 yesterday, 40 days after putting a deposit down on it.

 

Put in a deposit on 1/15/22 for a 2022 Tacoma Limited in Midnight Black with Nightshade Edition. Has anyone hedge their bets and put in multiple deposits at different dealerships with the hopes that you will get a build date sooner?

 

You are very lucky, I put in a deposit 11/5/2021 with Balise Toyota and they told me my build date wasn't until 3/5/2022

 

where is the link i can go to with my temporary vin to search the status of my vehicle too?

 

My sons Toyota corolla, is blueprint blue, which is darker than this blue and the dealership had a Tacoma on the lot that was the same color, but he wanted lunar rock, they told him it was still available

My wife and I currently have a 2021 highlander platinum AWD. We have had AC issues since day 1 of ownership. After 6 trips back to Toyota for the same issue, Toyota decided to replace our car. We completed the exchange paper work the first week of January, we are supposed to take ownership of our new 2022 highlander platinum AWD mid March. We have received updates along the way, current the car is being sent from Florida to the Carolina’s. Manufacturing process is slow on the highlanders.

They come with Advance Tech package (AT) and upgraded head unit (EE). Not sure if EE upgraded head unit is a must have for AT, but it is always bundled with AT

It will not give you status. Once Temp VIN stops working, your truck is being built. Toyota does not release status info directly to consumers.

 

So when this stops showing up as a vehicle on this site I need the new vin?

Unless they give you a temporary or real vin. The dealer just took 500.00 bucks and didnothing. If your lucky he put in a request. But I have a feeling dealership requests mean zilch in this market. If you know what you want and have settled on it. Go find it, this is not a guppy tank. Many sharks swimming

If your temp vin vanished, I would recommend calling your dealer... let him know you know it got built.. something like "hey I saw my truck got built, when can I expect it"..

That way the fucker can't trade its allocation or skip you. Lock that truck down bro

emailed a random dealer in my province inquiring about an army green trail edition and they phoned me saying they have a cancellation on the exact truck which is coming mid april.
i can't believe my luck! deposit is down. they were planning on throwing all their accessories on it and having it in the showroom for big $$$ so they're very hesitant about dropping all their bs add-ons

 

Tell them they can throw whatever they want on it, and market it for a whole month. But your paying msrp.. they might actually say yes..

in canada they can't do market adjustments so they just have expensive dealer add-ons. i got them to just do 3m protective film which i was planning on adding anyways

 

Offer to let them add the cast aluminum running boards. If they are gunna load it up load it up with something useful. The running boards are a great addition anyway, instead of garbage upgrades like floor matz
