I heard that you're not supposed to mount something to both the roof rack and the bed cover rack (not that I'm saying you did it, I can't tell from the pics) but is that true or just something people say? Something about the flex betwen the cab and the bed tearing shit up.

 

This is correct the cab and bed move independently.

 

Ok so for setups like that or I was looking at the gfc superlite where it's way to long to just drape over the back do you just have it rest on the roof rack but have all mounting points located on the bed/bed cover rack?

 

Me too, knocked mine out yesterday. Trans and transfer case skids. My neck is sore form holding my oversized melon up in the air. Some interesting neck angles going on.

 

I'll be mounting mine in March (ovs mamba 3) and if it touches my prinsu at all I am chopping the prinsu in half. Rather than Buying an over priced roofnest. Basically shouldn't touch and I'd say atleast an inch clearance

 

Where did you get the wiring kit? The kickers do not seem to be plug and play for the JBL speaker replacement.

Went to Nimblewell Gap Road in North Ga. Real rocky but not bad. First time airing down and I could not believe the difference it makes. Also took a newbie. He has had his truck two years and this is his first time. He is hooked now for sure.

So….. discussing our Toyotas with my fiancé ( my taco her 4Runner) and we both have the Service Plan and Maintenance Plan. But what I can’t find out from anyone at Toyota is what exactly those cover and for how long. Does ANYONE here have an answer? Thanks in advance.

Great idea! I see that you ride, too. I also think that everyone should be required to take a beginner's motorcycle safety course as part of their driver's ed, whether they intend to get a motorcycle license or not. They should understand the other vehicles sharing the road.
