    I just got an alpine 900bt real cheap, going to do the install myself, my question is there are 2 leads, one for em brake, and one for foot brake, if i install a video bypass do i still have to hook up these wires to the 2 brakes?

Camburg Spindles, All Pro front fenders.
    Not sure if it will work for you, but on my pioneer 4200 I used a relay. Its quick and no switch necessary.

    On my Sony XNV-770BT, I simply spliced the parking brake wire right into the ground wire and it bypassed just fine, no need for a relay. You should try that first.

    The Kenwoods seem to need the relay so it does depend on the model.

    No you dont need a relay on my Kenwood... you just ground the parking brake wire and its done.

    You need a PAC tr-7 to bypass the alpines. They have to see a sequence not just a straight ground like most others.
